PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the hydraulic responsibility at the time of starting steering while to save the energy. SOLUTION: A controller 5 is provided with a current detecting circuit 5a for detecting the current, which flows in both electric motors 4A, 4B, and judges the steering condition on the basis of the detected current value. At the time of steering that a pump load is large and the current value is raised, both the motors 4A, 4A are set at the normal mode so as to supply the normal voltage (first voltage). At the time of non-steering that the pump load is small and the current value is lowered, both the motors 4A, 4B are set at the standby mode, and a voltage (second voltage) lower than the normal voltage is supplied to any one of the motors 4A, 4B, and on the other hand, the power supply to the other motor 4B or 4A is stopped. |
