A method is disclosed for enhancing the survivability of very young piglets. The method includes dosing a piglet with a competitive exclusion product, weaning the piglet as soon as the piglet has received sufficient colostrum from a sow to establish maternal antibodies in the piglet, and feeding the piglet with a liquid feed diet until the piglet is large enough to be transferred to a feeder diet. |
