PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system for appropriately controlling the transfer destination change of a transfer telephone service and the setting/ cancellation of an automatic answering telephone function corresponding to the present position of a user. SOLUTION: The user 1 carries a portable telephone 3 and a pager 5. In a mobile communication network 7, many mobile communication base stations 9a, 9b,... and a control station 11 for routing the mobile communication network 7 are present. The control station 11 has a function for providing a transfer center 15 with position information acquired from the portable telephone 3. The transfer center 15 decides to which transfer destination a telephone call to the user 1 is to be transferred by using the position information of the portable telephone 3 acquired from the control station 11.
