<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron emitter composition for a field emission display that is superior in operability and cost benefit and can provide a uniform flat surface emitter having a large area, and to provide its manufacture. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method includes a process for forming a photoresist film on a back surface plate 30 on which electrodes 70 are formed, a process for exposing and developing the photoresist film in a given pattern, a process for forming an electron emission material film by coating the photoresist film with electron emitter composition for a field emission display that contains electron emission material, dispersant of polyoxyethylene nonyl phenyl ether derivative or polyvinylpyrrolidone, a binder of silane based compound or collaidal silica, and pure water and drying them, a process for etching the electron emission material film to expose the photo-resist film, and a process for stripping the exposed photoresist film and then cleaning and drying the electron emission material film.</p> |
