PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor safety installation with good performance in preventing recriticality even in case power of the reactor power station is not ensured in rare accident cases. SOLUTION: This reactor safety installation can prevent recriticality because powder 6 of boron compound, cadmium and hafnium contained in inner liner 7 capture thermal neutron by placing the inner liner 7 which is charged with the powder 6 of boron compound, cadmium and hafnium in SUS (stainless steel) on the inside of lower head wall 2.
