摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a novel system for eliminating noise for obtaining a highly accurate signal by correcting the noise in a signal from each pixel, based on noise information obtained for two arbitration storage times or more in each pixel. SOLUTION: First a pixel output is read in a state where no incident light is given to a photoelectric converter 30, and a fixed pattern noise component of each pixel is measured. Then in the same state, the relation between a storage time and the pixel output is measured to obtain a dark current component of each pixel. This operation applied to each pixel to generate fixed pattern correction information/dark current correction information specific to each pixel, and the information is stored in a memory of a controller 32. When an output result of the photoelectric converter 30 is used, the output of the photoelectric converter 30 is processed so as to recognize the pixel and the storage time, and correction processing is conducted, such that a fixed pattern noise component is obtained and eliminated based on the correction information, and then a dark current component is obtained and eliminated from the relation between the storage time and the dark current to have the accuracy of output data from the photoelectric converter 30 improved.
