<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner having good image characteristics and excellent low temp. fixing property, fixing strength, storage property and offset resistance which uses a polyolefin resin as a binder resin by incorporating a specified polyolefin resin. SOLUTION: This toner contains a polyolefin resin having an ion crosslinked structure obtd. by the reaction of a copolymer having monomer unit A and monomer unit B as monomer components with a metal compd. C. The monomer unit A is anα-olefin monomer unit which forms the structure expressed by CH2-CHR- (R is a hydrogen atom or 1-45C alkyl group). The monomer unit B is at least one kind of monomer unit selected from vinyl monomers having carboxyl groups or acid anhydride groups. The metal compd. C enables ion crosslinking with carboxyl groups or acid anhydride groups. The ratio of monomer unit A to monomer unit B is preferably A:B=20:80 to 80:20.</p> |
