<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the visibility of a road shoulder, the visibility of a corner on the road shoulder side and the visibility from a long distance. SOLUTION: A reflecting surface segment 860 for improving the visibility of a corner on the road shoulder side and the visibility from a long distance is formed on an upper part of a fan-shaped part 85, out of a reflecting surface 4, forming a luminous intensity distribution pattern of a low beam for the road shoulder side. As a result, because part of light from a light source bulb 5 is reflected toward the road shoulder side of the traveling lane 78 by the segment 860, the visibility of the corner on the road shoulder side of the traveling lane 78 by the low beam is improved and the visibility from a long distance by the high beam is also improved. A reflecting surface segment 870 for improving the visibility of the road shoulder, the visibility of the corner on the road shoulder side and the visibility from a long distance is formed on a lower part of the fan-shaped part 85 out of the reflecting surface 4. As a result, because part of the light from the light source bulb 5 is reflected toward the road shoulder side of the traveling lane 78 by the segment 870, the visibility of the road shoulder of the traveling lane 78 and the visibility of the corner on the road shoulder side by the low beam are improved and the visibility from a long distance by the high beam is also improved.</p> |
