PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magneto-optical recording medium which improves floating stability and traveling stability of a slider type optical head. SOLUTION: This magneto-optical disk 1 has a recording layer 15, acrylic resin layer 18, and lubricant layer 19 of fluorine oil formed in this order on a polycarbonate resin substrate 13, and has a lubricant protective layer 10 on the other surface of the substrate 13 opposite to the recording layer 15. The lubricant protective layer 10 is formed by applying a light-transmissive resin layer 12 of an acrylic resin having a translucency on the substrate 13 and then applying a light-transmissive lubricant layer 11 of fluorine oil having the translucency and drying on the light-transmissive layer 12. |
