PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface circuit capable of transmitting and receiving a digital signal free from waveform distortion and jitter. SOLUTION: This circuit is suitable for adopting to a recording system and is obtained by optically, sonically and electromagnetically combining an analog interface circuit 100A and a digital interface circuit 100B so that they can transmit and receive a digital signal mutually between them. The interface circuits 100A and 100B being the receiving side to each other detect the logic of the digital signal in the timing of not including jitter components in the transmitted digital signal and removes a waveform distortion component in the digital signal at the same time to reproduce a new digital signal based on the logic of the detected digital signal.
