PURPOSE: A power steering system is provided to improve the efficiency of energy and to secure a space as simplifying its structure. CONSTITUTION: A power steering system is composed of a steering wheel(2) and a steering shaft(3) operated by the rotation movement of the steering wheel. The power transmitted from a controller with a signal such as the speed of a vehicle, the number of engine rotation and a torque hung on a gear box(4) is regulated by arranging a driving device(10) on the steering gear box. Herein, the power steering system is operated by the opening and closing of the driving device and the rotation of the motor, and the driving device is comprised of a motor(11) installed in the gear box, a ball screw(12) rotated by the motor, and a rod(13) for changing the rotation movement to a straight movement by the ball screw.
