METHOD FOR RECOVERING OBSTACLE OF DATA LINK BETWEEN MOBILE SWITCHING CENTER AND NETWORK INTERLOCKING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A method improves the service quality of wireless data communication service the simplifies the initialization process as to a mobile switching center(MSC)(100) and a network interlocking apparatus(IWF)(200) by performing a cancellation process as to sources yet to be dealt with in the recovery processing according to the obstacle generation. CONSTITUTION: A method is to manage effectively the unnecessary source wasted due to the obstacle on a data link layer able to be occurred between an MSC and an IWF, in a wireless data communication system. The method comprises the processes of: recovering the occurred obstacle, by canceling the obstacle-related source in the mobile switching center according as the obstacle is sensed on a link layer where a data link of protocol layer is set; delivering a restart message from the mobile switching center to the network interlocking apparatus according as the recovery of the occurred obstacle is completed; canceling the obstacle-related source in the network interlocking apparatus by the delivered restart message; and reporting to the mobile switching center that the obstacle-related sources of the network interlocking apparatus are initialized.
