PURPOSE: A method improves the convenience of a user by enabling to upgrade a software of a mobile communication terminal directly through a wireless communication with his own terminal. CONSTITUTION: According to the method, a user can upgrade a software such as an operation program or a function program of the mobile communication terminal through a wireless communication without going to a service bureau. In a wireless communication network wherein a program from a program storing means can be transmitted to the mobile communication terminal located in a territorial jurisdiction through a switch board, the method includes: a communication connection step of executing a wireless communication connection through the switch board to the program storing means; a software transmission instruction step of transmitting an instruction to transmit a software of a new program to the program storing means; a software receiving step of receiving the software of program data accessed through the switch board from the program storing means; and a upgrade execution step of upgrading the software in the terminal on the basis of the software of the received program.
