PURPOSE: A navigation device is provided to display a map on a screen as well as to reproduce video and audio by combining functions of an automatic navigation device and functions of an A/V reproduction device. CONSTITUTION: A navigation device comprises functions of showing location and time information transmitted from a GSP satellite in real time on a display which is generated through the MPEG-decoding of GIS-DATA obtained from the MPEG-encoding of moving pictures as well as functions of reproducing digitalized moving pictures and music, to thereby display a map with the location and time information when media obtained from the MPEG-decoding of map DATA is stored in an MPEG-DATA storage unit(4). |
