PURPOSE: A device is provided to lock a window by inserting a locking bar into a locking piece when opening and shutting the window or to release the locking state by removing the locking bar from the locking piece. CONSTITUTION: A device is structured by: installing an operator(3) having a handle(4) in the lower frame of a window frame(1); connecting a slider(23) to a pair of right and left moving bars(21) which is placed in the operator; connecting an ascending and descending bar(27) to a slider(5-1) of an operating device for opening and shutting(5) by sequentially connecting a corner driver(26) and the ascending and descending bar to the slider but by installing the operating device for opening and shutting in the upper corner; and inserting a locking bar(24) into a locking groove and removing from the locking groove when opening and shutting a window(2) at the window frame by installing the locking bar in each slider and by installing a locking piece(30) which forms a slant face(31) and the locking groove, in the bottom of the lower window frame.
