YEAST CELLS HAVING HIGH CONTENT OF BIO-GERMANIUM AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A preparation method of yeast cells having high content of bio-germanium is provided by separating a growth step of yeast cells and an incorporation step of germanium ion into yeast cells. CONSTITUTION: A preparing method of yeast cells having high content of bio-germanium comprises: a)fermentation process in media containing 0.3 to 0.5 weight % of peptone, 0.1 to 0.3 weight % of yeast extract, 3 to 5 weight % of glucose, and 0.1 to 0.3 weight % malt extract at 25 to 35°C for 24 to 48hrs; b)separation process of yeast cells by centrifugation and; c)incorporation process of inorganic germanium into yeast cells mixing with 0.5 to 2 volume of germanium solution(1000 to 5000 ppm) at pH5-7 and 30-40°C for 15 to 25 hrs. The method produces yeast cells containing high concentration of bio-germanium and recycles germanium solution safely and cost effectively.
