PURPOSE: An eccentric-type vane pump is provided to reduce heat, noise and abrasion generated by a friction to the minimum during the operation of a vane pump. CONSTITUTION: An eccentric-type vane pump is composed of: a rotor(29a) having a rotor shaft(29b) and having a vane(32) inserted to move rectilinearly along the inside of plural vane grooves(36) arranged by dispersing themselves to the circumferential direction; a cylinder ring(28) formed by covering the outer circumference to be eccentric to the rotor, revolved by friction contacted on the front end part of the vane and having a pump chamber between itself and the rotor; a cylinder body(26) provided on the outer circumference of the cylinder ring; and a front body(40) supported by inserting an end part of the rotor shaft to be revolved. Therefore, frictional force is reduced for reducing heat, noise, and abrasion while rotating the vane pump.
