PURPOSE: A terminating call guide system at providing a service for data communication and a methode thereof is provided to perform a data communication service and a sound service by adding a data process network subsystem to a switch system. CONSTITUTION: The terminating call guide system at providing a service for data communication and the methode thereof comprises: an access network subsystem(10); a switch network subsystem(30); a trunk network subsystem(40); and a data process network subsystem(50) for being connected through the switch network subsystem and an optic link interface, providing data communication service to the subscriber connected to the access network subsystem, and guiding the terminating call through the switch network subsystem and the access network subsystem when the subscriber's call is terminated through the access network subsystem or the trunk network subsystem.
