PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform mounting and demounting operation of a camera on and from a tripod through one-action and to effect reliable fixing. SOLUTION: This one-action fixing apparatus comprises a mounting demounting mechanism body 20 mounted on a base 5 being a support body for an object to be fixed, ; and a fit-in body 60 mounted on an object 10 to be fixed in a manner to be fitted in the mounting demounting mechanism body. In this case, the mounting and demounting mechanism body 20 comprises a pedestal part 24 fixed at the base 5; a pair of moving blocks 22a and 22b supported movably between an expansion position and a contraction position on the pedestal; a cam mechanism pushing the moving blocks 22a and 22b in the direction of the expansion position through rotation operation of a lever 26; and an energizing means to energize the moving blocks in the direction of the contraction position. The fit-in body 60 has a press contact surface to generate a fastening force between the moving blocks as a result of the outer surfaces of the moving blocks being brought into contact with each other when the moving block is moved from the contraction position to the expansion position.
