PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject filler that can inhibit grout from intruding into gaps that should avoid the intrusion of grout by constituting the filler with a specific viscous fluid and changing three properties of fluidity, non- fluidity and collapsibility with time in this order. SOLUTION: The objective filler is constituted with a viscous fluid containing (A) a water-soluble high-molecular-weight molecule, (B) water, (C) a crosslinking agent, (D) when necessary, a preservative so that their fluidity, non-fluidity and collapsibility (embritllement) may change in this order with time. The collapsibility proceeds by the rot of organic substance, namely the component A, therefore a septic substance is used as the component A, for example, guar gum, hydroxypropylated guar gum, cationized guar gum and the like are preferred. The component C is a vulcanizing agent, preferably boric acid, borax and the like.
