PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a connecting member for an extracorporeal circulation circuit by installing it between the connector of a normal blood circuit and a patient side shunt connector (IV catheter) only when the extracorporeal circuit needs to be separated. SOLUTION: A connecting member 1 for an extracorporeal circulation circuit comprises an arterial circuit connecting member 2 having a first connector connected to one end thereof and a second connector connected to the other, a vanous circuit connecting member 3 having a first connector connected to one end thereof and a second connector connected to the other, and a patient side connecting member 4 having a first connector connected to one end thereof and a second connector connected to the other. Lidded cylindrical caps are mounted on the first connector of the arterial circuit connecting member 2 and the first connector of the venous circuit connecting member 3, and the second connector of the arterial circuit connecting member 2 is connected to the first connector of the patient side connecting member 4. The second connector of the vanous circuit connecting member 3 is connected to the second connector of the patient side connecting member 4 and a heparin lock member is attached to a portion of the patient side connecting member 4.
