PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic or pharmaceutical composition exhibiting melanogenesis promotion activity at the melanocyte in the hair root and promoting hair pigmentation. SOLUTION: This cosmetic composition for promoting hair pigmentation comprises a composition composed of Colues extract and active amount of at least one other active component selected from a group comprising xanthine, quinone or its derivative, rubefacient, fibroblast culture supernatant fluid of papilla, keratin hydrolyzate, trace elements, 5-α-reductase inhibitor, minoxidil, azelaic acid and its derivative, 4-methyl-4-azasteroid and extracts of Serenoa repens. |
