摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of a device when a bottom plate is detected abnormal by setting a moving amount of a document lifting means based on the detected information by a document stacking height detecting means, and driving a document lift driving means by the moving amount. SOLUTION: By placing documents, a document set filler 87 removes from a document set sensor 21 to turn on the sensor. Using displacement of a slit of an encoder portion 89 of the document set filler 87, a control portion determines stacked height of the documents 5 from displacement amount of the encoder using a signal of a stacked height sensor 88, calculates moving amount of a bottom plate 7, and drives and controls a bottom plate lifting motor based on the driving pulse so that the bottom plate 7 rises by the moving amount. Because a calling roller 8 drops by rotation of a vertical cam 80 through the document set sensor 21, the bottom plate 7 rises in a state that the upper surface of the documents 5 abuts to the calling roller 8. When a paper-feed proper position sensor 27 does not detect a paper-feed proper position filler 82 even if the bottom lifting motor is driven by number or pulses corresponding to the lift moving amount, the motor is stopped.
