<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To well apply and focus light of light-emitting elements of a light- emitting element array chip and form an image on a photosensitive body so as to form a clear latent image on the photosensitive body by arranging all light-emitting elements at a lower face of the light-emitting element array chip so as to be in between a pair of band-shaped reflecting layers of a head substrate. SOLUTION: This optical printer head comprises a head substrate H and a light-emitting element array chip L. In the head substrate H, a circuit wiring 4 is set via a transparent insulating layer 3 to an upper face of a transparent substrate 1 where a pair of band-shaped reflecting layers 2, 2 are provided nearly parallel. The light-emitting element array chip L has a plurality of light- emitting elements 5 arranged linearly to a lower face and a plurality of terminal electrodes 6 connected electrically to the light-emitting elements 5. The light- emitting element array chip L is mounted onto the head substrate H so that an arrangement of the light-emitting elements 5 is positioned between the pair of band-shaped reflecting layers 2 and 2 and moreover, the terminal electrodes 6 are electrically connected to the circuit wiring 4.</p> |
