PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a storing container for a magneto-optical disk or the like, which is small in a load to be applied on a metallic mold and whose disposal can be carried out as refuse to be burned or as recycle. SOLUTION: This storing container is used for containing a magneto-optical disk or the like and is formed with an exterior case 2 having an opening 22 provided in a front surface thereof and a withdrawable main body 3 to be inserted thereinto. This exterior case 2 has an inward locking part 14 having its free end directed inwardly, which is disposed at a front edge of an upside plate 8 located in the opening 22, while the withdrawable main body 3 has an outward locking part 42 disposed so as to face forward at upper parts of back plates 34, 40, both being provided upright at a rear part of a base plate 26 provided connectively to a front plate 33. When the withdrawable main body 3 is contained in the exterior case 2, the locking part 42 of the withdrawable main body 3 is engaged with the locking part 14 of the exterior case 2, thus preventing the withdrawable main body 3 from being slid off from the exterior case 2.
