PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air tube capable of holding rigidity for a long time by an inexpensive, light and simple structure, and a truck hood device using the same. SOLUTION: In an air tube where the end part 7a of a tube main body 7 made of a commercially available non-elongated/non-contracted hose material is sealed by a hermetically sealing tool 12, the sealing tool 12 is provided with a wedge-like stopper 16 inserted into the loop end part 7b of the tube main body 7, and a holder 15 for hermetical sealing by biting the stopper 16 into a tapered gap 13 having two faces made of plates 17 and 17 to strongly hold the loop end part 7b when high-pressure air is injected into the tube main body 7.
