PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the resistance of a stock base part in the transfer of culm reaped and collectively transferred by a reaping apparatus of a combine. SOLUTION: A reaping transmission case 5 having a reaping blade 6, a culm-raising apparatus 7, etc., is positioned in such a manner that the upper face A of the central mid-case 8 passing the base part of culm reaped and collectively transferred by the front-side reaping blade 6 is placed at a level lower than the upper face B of the right and left side cases 9 and nearly equal to or lower than the backward extension plane of the upper face C of the reaping blade 6.
