PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment dispersing agent having a wide range of type of resins in which the pigment dispersing agent can be dispersed and excellent pigment dispersibility and further, a photopolymerizable pigment dispersing agent effective for improving resist properties of a photosensitive coloring composition, and a photosensitive coloring composition suitable in preparing color filters. SOLUTION: A pigment dispersing agent which comprises, as the component, a copolymer containing, as copolymerization components, at least a monomer containing a heterocyclic hydrocarbon having an amino group or a basic cyclic nitrogen atom and a monomer having a polycaprolactone skeleton represented by the formula (wherein R1 is a hydrogen or a methyl group; R2 is a 1-10C alkylene group or a halogen substituted derivative thereof; and n is 1-100) excels in pigment dispersibility and compatibility with various resins. Further, a photopolymerizable pigment dispersing agent comprising this copolymer which additionally contains an ethylenically unsaturated double bond can improve the sensitivity, adhesion to a substrate and pattern formability of a photosensitive coloring composition. |
