PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the utilization efficiency of a living space and to facilitate the maintenance and inspection of pipings by adjacently providing an elevator space for an elevator chamber and a piping space storing the pipings in a well section provided through the upper and lower floors. SOLUTION: A well section 1 continued from a first floor to a third floor is provided in a three-story building T combined with multiple building units U1, U2, U3 in the vertical and horizontal directions, and an elevator space 2 and a piping space 3 are adjacently provided in the well section 1. The well section 1 is partitioned by the wall panels of the building units U and fireproof partition walls 4 provided in the building units U, the floor panels of the building units U are opened on the well section 1, and the elevator space 2 and the piping space 3 are partitioned by a fireproof partition wall 5. The elevator space 2 and the piping space 3 are adjacently provided, the utilization efficiency of a living space can be increased, and the maintenance and inspection of pipings can be easily conducted from the elevator space 2 side without damaging the wall of a habitable room.
