PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag for a pneumatic massage device which eliminates the non-expansion and contraction parts between respective cells to eliminate the parts remaining without being massaged by constituting cuffs of the alternately arrayed inner and outer cells and is capable of improving productivity and reducing a cost by curtailing particularly the man-hours for manufacture and the number of parts in the constitution therefor. SOLUTION: This air bag comprises an inner sheet 20, the respective cells 21, 23, 25 on the inner layer side which are arranged with certain intervals on the inner sheet 20, the respective cells C22 and 24, on the outer layer side which are arranged in an aerial suspension state between the respective adjacent cells on the inner layer side, an outer sheet 28 which is fixed and connected to the inner sheet at required points by covering the respective cells on the inner and outer layer sides and fixtures which are mounted to the joining ends of the outer sheet 28 and carry out the attachment and detachment of the cuffs. Sheet-like materials made of plastic having airtightness and stretchability and allowing easy welding are used for the cells. These sheet-like materials are formed to a bag form by welding their outer peripheral edges.
