SYSTEM FOR DETECTING POSITION OF DEFIBRILLATOR ELECTRODE ON TRAINING MANNEQUIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defibrillator system suited to train electrode arrangement. SOLUTION: In a system for detecting the position of a defibrillator electrode 5 on a training mannequin 6 or the position of a training defibrillator electrode 5, two kinds of conducting surfaces 1, 2 are provided in hidden positions immediately below the skin 11 of the mannequin 6 and placed in positions corresponding to the proper and improper positions of electrode arrangement, respectively, while each forming half of a capacitor. The defibrillator electrode 5 constitutes the other half of the capacitor, the capacitors serving as members for determining the position of the defibrillator electrode by measuring the ratio of currents from the conducting surfaces 1, 2 within a closed circuit.
