PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for producing a recombinant type antibody through gene recombination, using a microorganism as a host. SOLUTION: This method comprises solubilizing an antibody peptide produced by gene recombinant host cells and producing recombinant type antibody molecules from the peptide solution, obtained by dissolving the antibody peptide in a buffer, through formation of a suitable Cys-Cys bond in the H-chain portion and L-chain peptide portion for the rewinding wherein the concentration of guanidine hydrochloride added to the peptide solution is initially above 3 M, then, reduced to 0 M in a stepwise way by dialysis, and in the stepwise process where the concentration of guanidine hydrochloride exceeds 0.5 M and is below 3 M, the peptide solution is dialyzed against a liquid, to which a specific amount of oxidized glutathione is added, so as to form the Cys-Cys bond and conduct the rewinding. |
