摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a favorable fuel injection amount for each group of cylinders in accordance with the air amount distributed to different cylinder groups from one common suction passage. SOLUTION: Cylinders of a V-form engine 11 are grouped in two groups by those belonging to a first bank 21 and those to a second bank 22. An air flow meter 61 is installed downstream of the air cleaner 46 of the suction system 14 and senses the air amount supplied to the engine 11. A crank angle sensor 64 is installed near a crank shaft 28 for sensing the engine speed. The air amount distributed to the first bank 21 and that to the second bank 22 are calculated from the sensed air amount and engine speed. The fuel amount injected to the first bank 21 and that to the second bank 22 are corrected in accordance with the calculations of the distributed air amounts.
