PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of an under frame is provided to improve workability and productivity by simplifying a main manufacturing process for a railroad vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A pair of end under frames(2,2') are manufactured and, plural cross beams(3) are welded to a pair of side sills(1a,1b). Afterward, at both ends of the side sills, ends of side sills(2a,2a',2b,2b') of the end under frames(2,2') are respectively connected. With front ends of the side sills(1a,1b) with which plural cross beams(3) are welded, the ends of side sills of the end under frames(2,2') are butted and firstly welded on a bonded face. A bonding member furnished with a reinforcing member is attached closely to the bonded face then the front ends of the side sills(1a,1b) and a girth of welding grooves are secondly welded for attaching the bonding member to the front ends of the side sills(1a,1b) and to the end under frames(2,2').
