PURPOSE: A wet type analyzing composition for a plating amount of a Zn or a Zn+Al plated steel sheet is provided to accurately analyze a Zn amount adhered to the surface of the plated steel sheet by developing a wet type analyzing reagent which does not corrode the surface (Fe layer) of the plated steel sheet, but corrode only constituents such as Zn+Al adhered to the surface of the steel sheet in the plating process. CONSTITUTION: The wet type analyzing composition for a plating amount of a Zn or a Zn+Al plated steel sheet is characterized in that an analyzing solution corroding and removing constituents plated on the surface of the steel sheet during the plating amount wet type analysis of the Zn+Al or the Zn plated steel sheet is prepared by mixing 500 ml of hydrochloric acid with 160 ml of distilled water, mixing 25 ml of a solution in which 3.2 g of antimony trichloride is dissolved into 100 ml of hydrochloric acid and 9 to 10 ml of a solution in which 30 g of hexamethylenetetramine is dissolved into 100 ml of distilled water with the resulting mixture as an iron protecting agent, and injecting 4 to 5 drops of surfactant into the resulting mixture.
