PURPOSE: A method for monitoring a service channel message in a satellite communication system is provided to make a system operator monitor transceiving control messages between a central control station and many base stations, so that the system operator can easily detect a cause when a failure occurred in the system. CONSTITUTION: If a monitoring operation command for monitoring a control message transceived through a service channel is inputted, a processor stands by an inputting of monitoring condition data. If the monitoring condition data is inputted, the processor extracts a transceiving message of an appropriate service channel on the basis of the monitoring condition data, and stores the extracted transceiving message in a message storage. If a monitoring operation canceling command is inputted, the processor outputs the transceiving message stored in the message storage, and initializes the message storage.
