PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical recording and reproducing device in which tilt can be reduced without moving an objective lens. SOLUTION: A glass plate 13 is arranged at a location A which is optically conjugative with respect to an optical disk 1. The signals from a pair of tilt sensors 11, which detect the relative tilt between the disk 1 and an objective lens 9, are used for the driving signals of the plate 13 through a control device 12. If the disk 1 is tilted, the device 12, which receives detected signals, drives the plate 13 and the optical axis of a laser beam optical path is varied. Then, the incident angle of the beams with respect to the disk 1 is varied and the angle follows the tilt of the disk 1. Thus, without moving the lens 9, the tilt is reduced. |
