PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for semiautomatically performing the management of electronized conference data and preparation work required for holding a conference such as the preparation of a conference index and the automatic distribution of the conference data. SOLUTION: This method for semiautomatically performing the management of the conference data in an electronic conference system and the preparation work required for holding the conference is provided with a procedure (51) for registering the conference data to a conference server before holding the conference and automatically preparing the attribute file of the conference data, the procedure (52) for managing the conference data, the procedure (53) for automatically preparing the conference index by information taken out from the attribute file, the procedure (54) for automatically distributing the data and the conference index to all participant's terminals before opening the conference, the procedure (55) for converting a memo inputted from a keyboard during the conference to a minutes format and preparing the minutes, the procedure for preparing the list of contents registered in the conference server and the procedure for distributing automatically added data to all the participant's terminals further.
