PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a navigation system provided with communication function to limit the transmission of information under a prescribed condition and to prevent the congestion of a communication path. SOLUTION: As for the control of information transmission, the initial role of the information transmission is decided based on setting items relating to the traveling condition or the like of a present vehicle at present first (S01). Transmission information is prepared based on the priority of the transmission information (S02), whether or not the other vehicle is during the information transmission is confirmed (S03), and in the case that the other vehicle does not transmit the information, reception information is transmitted with a time interval corresponding to the 'role' (or high or low frequency or the like) (S04). While the reception information is transmitted or in the case that the transmission or the information from the other vehicle is confirmed (S03), the information of the other vehicle is received and the information is gathered (S05). The received and gathered information and the information provided in the present vehicle are compared and the information is connected and edited (S06). The 'role' of the present vehicle is decided again based on the information of the present vehicle and the information of a peripheral other vehicle group after editing (S07) and the information transmission is executed under the series of control processes (S02). |
