PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a disk cartridge which prevents the entrance of dust particles which night adhere to the face on the outer side of a cartridge body in relation to the movement of a shutter member and which protects an optical disk to be housed. SOLUTION: A shutter mechanism 23 which opens and closes an opening part 15 and an opening part 16 which are formed in a cartridge body 5 used to house an optical disk 2 is provided with two shutter members 26, 26 which are moved along the main face of the cartridge body 5. Regions in which the first and second shutter members 25, 26 at the cartridge body 5 are moved are constituted of a first wall part 4 and a second wall part 38 which are arranged and installed as to be faced. The first and second shutter members 25, 26 are turned inside a space between the first and second wall parts 4, 38, and they make their way so as to open and close the opening parts 15, 16.
