PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple work-inspecting device that can be added to a processing device for performing various processing to a work, is inexpensive, saves space, and is capable of high-speed processing. SOLUTION: A device is composed of a body 1 and an image control- processing means 2. The body 1 is composed of an inspection stage 3, a lighting means 4, and a high-resolution area sensor camera 5. The inspection stage 3 is a stage for setting a work to be inspected, and a system according to suction or a system or the like being supported by a support pin or the like can be used as a system for retaining the work. The lighting means 4 is used to apply light to the work to be inspected in a crosswise direction or in an oblique upper direction, and a line or lighting is generally used for this sort of application. The high-resolution area sensor camera 5 has a high resolution of 1,000×1,000 pixels or more, is installed at the upper portion of the inspection stage 3, and takes in the image of the entire surface of the work to be inspected by control from the image control processing means 2. The body 1 covers an entire part or a required part to eliminate the influence of external light.
