摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accurate and inexpensive liquid level sensor having simple structure. SOLUTION: The equipment 10 for measuring the quantity of liquid comprises a quartz oscillator 1 as an oscillation generating means arranged in a liquid 5 to be measured in order to measure the quantity or the level of liquid in a specific container 4, an oscillation circuit 2 for the quartz oscillator 1, and means 3 for measuring variation in the oscillation frequency of the quartz oscillator 1 and measures the quantity of liquid in the container 4 based on the variation of hydraulic pressure incident to variation in the quantity of liquid 5 to be measured and the variation of frequency of the quartz oscillator 1. It is also used as a liquid level detector utilizing radical variation of difference of pressure being applied to the quartz oscillator 1 and the electrode face in the atmosphere and in the liquid with the liquid surface as the boundary.
