PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily execute three-dimensional(3D) editing or the like to a 2D image by preparing a connection image respectively converting/connecting plural surfaces, which compose of a 3D object in the 2D image, into expanded image. SOLUTION: Based on shape information and feature points, a conversion expression is calculated for respectively converting the plural surfaces composing of the 3D object in the 2D image into expanded image and based on the conversion expression, the plural surfaces composing of the 3D object in the 2D image are respectively converted into expanded image. Then, the connection image is prepared by connecting the respective expanded images of plural surfaces according to the connection relation of these respective plural surfaces. Concerning a projection image (A) of regular dodecahedron, for example, a connection image (B) can be prepared as well. In this case, with a surface S as a concerned surface, the expanded image is connected with the expanded images of five surrounding surfaces connected to the surface S.
