PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise carry-away device of an automatic vending machine capable of saving the cost and its installation space, minimizing a heat leakage amount between housing chambers accompanying the opening and closing of a partition plate and preventing the deformation and foaming of merchandise. SOLUTION: This merchandise carry-away device for carrying away the merchandise housed in a merchandise rack 12 provided inside upper and lower housing chambers 10 and 11 and paid out is provided with a carry-away passage 13 adjacent to the side of the pay-out port 14 of the merchandise rack 12 and extended in a vertical direction, a carry-away mechanism 28 freely vertically movably provided inside the carry-away passage 13 for performing a reciprocating motion between the side of a take-out port 5 and the vicinity of the merchandise rack 12 for housing the merchandise to be sold so as to carry away the merchandise at the time of sales, a partition plate mounting part 25 provided on a boundary part between the housing chambers 10 and 11 of the carry-away passage 13 and an opening/closing partition plate 20 mounted to the partition plate mounting part 25 for partitioning the housing chambers 10 and 11 and being opened and closed accompanying the reciprocating motion of the carry-away mechanism 28 exceeding the partition plate mounting part 25.
