摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication controller in an asynchronous transfer mode(ATM) network for enabling transmission processing by an accurate transmission rate in a state where the total sum of rates capable of transmission is equal to or less than the link capacity of a switch and in the case that plural channels are scheduled at the same time. SOLUTION: This communication controller in the asynchronous transfer mode network is composed of a transmission order table 1 for storing the plural pieces of cell information 13 based on the transmission time, which cell information 13 is provided with the transmission time 7 of an ATM cell and with a channel number 9 to transmit the ATM cell, a transmission time decision means 3 for outputting control signals 17 based on timing signals 15 generated based on clock signals 2, 5 and the transmission time 7 and a table control means 5 for deciding the new transmission time 21 from the transmission rate 19 of the channel indicated by the channel number 9 corresponding to the transmission time 7 and the timing signals 15 in response to the control signals 17 and updating the transmission order table once by the new transmission time 21 and the channel number 9 corresponding to the transmission time 7.</p>
