PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a call processing method for a communication exchange device. SOLUTION: At the time of receiving a call related to an individual vector subscriber's number VDN, an exchange device accesses conventional vectorization 107, executes the call processing vector of the VDN and starts call processing. At the time of meeting a 'stand-by' command in the executing vector, the exchange device sends the information of the call and call ID to an expert system to be executed by an auxiliary processor 110 to be the external source of the vector. An informing function acts as a request to another call processing vector related to the call. The expert system dynamically generates a new call processing vector related to the call in real time based on the information related to call processing from the exchange device and data bases 111 to 112. At the time of receiving a new vector, the exchange device substitutes the new vector for an old vector, restarts vector processing and executes the new vector to continue call processing.
