PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dye image superior in color reproduction and development performance and stable against light and humidity and heat by incorporating each specified cyan and yellow couplers in red-sensitive and blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers. SOLUTION: The red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer contains one of the cyan couplers represented by formulae I and II and the like and the blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer contains the yellow coupler represented by the formula III and in formulae I-III, each of R1 and R3 is a 1-32 C alkyl group or the like; each of R2 and R4 is a substituent; each of R22 and R23 is an electron withdrawing group having a Hammett's substituent constantσp of >=0.30; Z5 is a nonmetallic atomic group necessary for forming the azole ring the hetero atom of which is a nitrogen atom; each of X1, X2, and X5 is an H or halogen atom or a group to be released by coupling with the oxidation product of a color developing agent; R5 is an aliphatic group or the like; R6 is an aliphatic group resistant to diffusion or aromatic group; Y is an H atom or the like; and X3 is a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic group releasable by reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent.
