PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk driving device and a data reproducing method capable of storing data in a cache memory at a high speed when data reading is requested. SOLUTION: This disk driving device has three heads for reading disk data, and stores data read from the three heads in a cache memory. In this case, the device is provided with an information detecting section 1 for detecting and reading a reading address on a disk based on reading request data, a head position analyzing section 2 for setting the moving target positions of the three heads based on the detected reading address, a head moving section 3 for moving the three heads to the moving target positions, a data reading section 4 for reading the data on the disk from the three heads, and a data storing section 5 for storing the read data in the specified position of the cache memory.
