PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the joint strength of all disk-like recording media high and uniform while maintaining high productivity. SOLUTION: This process for producing the disk-like recording media consists in joining a pair of disk half bodies 1 formed with at least signal recording layers and/or reflection layers on one main surfaces of disk substrates and formed with protective layers on the outermost layers in such a manner that the protective layers face each other via adhesives. At this time, a plurality of the disks are formed by joining a pair of the disk half bodies 2 via the adhesives. The time integrated values of the pressure applied on the formed plural disks are set approximately constant.
