PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower a concentration of a hydrocarbon in a cooling storage cabinet as much as possible by arranging an ultraviolet lamp coated with a titanium oxide catalyst in a cooling storage cabinet. SOLUTION: A defrosting heater 41 and an ultraviolet lamp 42 are disposed under a cooler 18. An exterior of a glass tube 43 of the lamp 42 is coated with a titanium oxide catalyst 44 by coating. A hole is opened at the cooler 18 so that a hydrocarbon refrigerant might leak in the cooling storage cabinet. In such a case, since the catalyst 44 generates an oxidizing power as an ultraviolet ray is emitted to the catalyst 44, when the hydrocarbon in the cabinet 2 is brought into contact with the catalyst 44 of the lighting lamp 42, the hydrocarbon is decomposed into a carbon dioxide and water. Accordingly, a concentration of the hydrocarbon can be lowered in the cabinet 2.
